BAM PRACTICE is a subdivision of BAM under which we bring our own projects to life. Setting aside over-conceptualized briefs and strategies, this is our carte blanche for ideas and dreams. We act as a social platform where we nurture dialogue with creatives that inspire us.
“Is This Even Real?” is an exhibition by Studio Lilo that explores botanical sculptures through the themes of the natural and the surreal. We also held an artist talk with Valerie Präkelt and a performance by Franka Marlene Foth with FMKF collective. July, 2024.

On 30.03.23, BAM Works’ Berlin gallery space hosted BOGEN by Mosche, featuring an uncanny sonic sculpture by New York-based artist Kevin Stahl (American, b. 1983).

On 24.02.2023, Maximilian Semlinger transformed our BAM window with his artwork “Screenshots,” exploring digital media concerns like reproduction and sampling. On 23.05.2023, Nicolas Iturralde took over with his ceramic works. Drawing from Ecuador’s visual culture, he blends indigenous iconography with urban aesthetics from Latin America.
Hank Grüner’s solo exhibition Casa de la Madre y el Niño is a journey in time and mind-space. Paintings, drawings, sculptures and found objects explore the narrative of rejection and inclusion. All in the light of nostalgia. For this exhibition he has gathered his life-long companions. What first appears as trivial objects are in fact old friends and means of survival. The vernissage took place on April 28th, 2022 at the BAM RAUM in Berlin.
On October 8th, 2021 we opened a natural wine POP-UP in Berlin-Kreuzberg together with the Danish lifestyle company VinSuperNaturel. The interior was fully designed by the Danish creative studio Spacon X and invites the guests to taste and buy Vinsupernaturels natural wines and play basketball on site of BAMs Kreuzberg office. The common denominator of the three collaborators has been: the interplay of street culture, art, fashion and design.
In cooperation with gallery Ruttkowski;68, we welcomed Henrik Vibskov to our space. For this, BAM transformed into Windows;68, where Vibskov presented his new, multidisciplinary artistic cosmos with the visitors. With Nervous Elephants at Windows;68, Henrik Vibskov introduced new works on paper, sculptures, wood puzzles and an inflatable window installation. The vernissage took place on Friday, September 17th.
Round 2, the collaboration between NIKO JUNE and BAM celebrating the merge of identities, while the accompanying exhibition invites to experience the Copenhagen art studio’s works in our space in the heart of Kreuzberg. The Pop-up was installed from August 26 – September 2, 2021.
Teaming up with Basels iconic and Ye’s first choice semi-professional outdoor brand BURGUNDER we created the BURGUNDER (+BAM) capsule collection. Picnic blankets, ciders, different styles of t-shirts, crossbody bags, water bottles and pins were available at the BURGUNDER (+BAM) 1-week-store and online. Semi professional communication! The pop-up store featured an installation by Berlin based architectural design studio Some Place Studio.
Between April 29 – May 16 2021, Johanna Dumet and Manuel Wroblewski presented their recent exhibition titled Kapitalistischer Realismus Total.

Is it a sculpture or is it a bag? On October 8, 2020 Dennis Buck presented his latest collection of Buck Bags within our BAM space.
For the drop of the second edition of their iconic cap WHY NOT? and Sucuk & Bratwurst teamed up once again and hosted a launch event at the BAM space in Berlin on featuring a gigantic blow-up rendition of the cap as well as a window installation by Sucuk & Bratwurst.
In commemoration of our new Berlin space and the proud partnership with Gonzalez Haase AAS we produced a series of limited edition long sleeves showcasing excerpts of the original architectural drawings by BCO Architekten.
To communicate some of our core values we produced a silk scarf under the theme of a “handshake” and “harmony”. (100% silk, made in Italy)

Partnering up with Berlin’s König Galerie and Cologne’s ruttkowski 68 we were able to show the works of Frédéric Platéus and Johannes Wohnseifer for a very first exhibition in our new space in Kreuzberg!
We love products and sometimes you have to create something yourself. Just for the sake of creating it. The way you envision and the way you want it. Inspired by an endless summer and the nature and traditional graphics of Indonesia, we produced a small capsule collection of “Hawaii” shirts. All handmade in Indonesia.
The Sucuk & Bratwurst boys have teamed up with us to produce a clothing range that blends The North Face jackets and toothbrushes. Forget cigarette suits!
